1. Agreement
By downloading or using Shotscreens, creating an account, or buying an activation code, you agree to these terms and our privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the software.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Shotscreens on one PC per account for as long as your trial or plan is active. The software is licensed, not sold. All rights not granted here remain with Shotscreens.
3. Accounts
- Give correct details and keep your password (and activation codes) safe - they can be used to reset your password.
- One account per person. Do not share or sell your account.
- The account is bound to one PC. You may move it to another PC once every 7 days; support can help in special cases.
- You are responsible for everything done with your account.
4. Free trial, plans and activation codes
- The free trial starts at your first sign-in from the app and can be used once per person.
- Paid plans (3 months, 6 months, 1 year) are activated with codes from our authorised resellers. Each code works once. When you activate a code, the new days are added to any days you have left.
- Plan time runs continuously from activation, whether or not you use the app.
- Codes bought from anyone not listed on our Resellers page may be invalid and are not our responsibility.
- Refunds follow our refund policy.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- record or capture content you have no right to (for example other people's private data, paid content, or anything illegal);
- crack, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute the software, or bypass the licence or PC lock;
- abuse our servers (automated sign-ups, guessing passwords, overloading the API).
You alone are responsible for what you capture and share, and for following copyright and privacy laws.
6. Suspension
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, use stolen or fraudulent codes, or put the service at risk. Where reasonable we will tell you why.
7. Updates and availability
We improve the app over time and may change or remove features. The app needs an internet connection to sign in and check your plan; we aim for high availability but cannot promise the service is never interrupted.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The software is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data or lost profits. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your current plan. See also the disclaimer.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at the place of Shotscreens's registered office have jurisdiction.
