Do I need to install anything?
No. Shotscreens is one small exe for Windows 10 and 11. Run it and it starts in the system tray. It needs no extra DLLs or runtimes.
How does the free trial work?
Create an account and sign in from the app. The 7-day trial starts at that first sign-in and includes every feature. After it ends, enter an activation code to continue.
Where do I buy an activation code?
From one of our authorised resellers. Pay them, receive a code, and enter it in the app (tray menu → Activate code) or in My Plan on the website.
Can I use my account on another PC?
Each account works on one PC at a time. To move it, just sign in on the new PC and confirm - you can change PC once every 7 days.
Are my screenshots uploaded anywhere?
No. Captures and recordings are saved only on your own PC. The app talks to our server only to check your account and plan.
I forgot my password. What now?
In the app's sign-in window click "Forgot password?" and enter an activation code you used on the account - it works from your own PC. Free-trial users can contact support.
